Josh White
Coming from a background of saltwater and bass fishing in California, Josh is a very experienced angler. Now focusing on fly fishing our local fisheries, you’ll find Josh working in the shop on a regular basis and guiding our local Lakes.
Russ Seaton
Russ hails from Illinois and is a CUBS fan! A retired teacher and Director of Performing Arts he still performs in local theatres around Oregon. Russ has been working in fly shops and guiding in Central Oregon for nearly 30 years.
Joe Blanco
A lifelong Pacific Northwest outdoorsman, Joe has been fly fishing and tying flies since age 12. Based in Bend, he helps anglers gear up and plan guided trips.
Del Miller
A world traveling fly fisher and long time guide, Del has been a fine addition to our staff! A teacher at a local school, he is very willing to share his knowledge of flies, techniques, reading water and stream etiquette.
Matt Fischer
“Fish” as he’s known, has been fishing Central Oregon waters and tying flies for over 35 years. As a retired high school teacher and coach, he loves helping others learn and appreciate all aspects of fly fishing.
Bridget Levy
Bridget is a lifelong fisherman and a lover of all things outdoors. After graduating from OSU with a degree in Natural Resources Bridget joined The Hook Guide Staff. She can be found guiding and fly fishing the local waters year round.
Tate Scarpaci
Tate specializes in fishing Central and Southern Oregon rivers, helping anglers of all experience levels enjoy a successful day on the water.
Chase Steineberger
An avid outdoorsman, Chase spent years living and guiding in Colorado before moving to Central Oregon and joining our staff. He brings valuable experience on the water, a strong knowledge of the sport, and a genuine passion for helping anglers make the most of their time outdoors.
Josh Tanaka
Grew up saltwater fishing and obtained my 100 ton operator’s license and ran a sport fishing boat out of Dana Point. Moved to Oregon and picked up a fly rod and never looked back.
Jon Wiley
With over 25 years of guiding experience throughout Central Oregon, Jon has built a reputation for consistently putting clients on fish. His personable, fun, and outgoing approach makes every trip enjoyable, and he’s always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everyone has an unforgettable day on the water.
Cade Wilkins
Cade has a passion of fishing and the outdoors, as well as helping people develop life long skills. In the off season he spends his time as a Teacher and Baseball coach.
