Fall River Fishing Report: The river has been stocked recently, and fishing has been productive with a mix of subsurface and dry-fly opportunities.
Current Conditions: Clear water continues to make presentation and leader choice important. Fluorocarbon is strongly recommended when fishing below the surface.
What’s Working: Size 18–20 midge patterns, small leeches, buggers, and egg patterns have been producing consistently. PMD dries and emergers are working on top, while Griffith’s Gnats and Renegades remain effective during midge activity.
Recommended Approach: Use light fluorocarbon tippet and focus on clean, natural drifts through deeper runs, pockets, and slower water. Watch for rising fish and switch to PMD dries, emergers, or midge clusters when surface activity develops.
