Best Time to Fish: Early morning through evening can all produce, but the best presentation changes as the Callibaetis activity develops.
What’s Working: Callibaetis cripples and spinners have been effective early, followed by emergers and nymphs through the middle of the day. Adult dry flies have been productive during the afternoon and evening. Balanced leeches, chironomids, Callibaetis nymphs, and small trolling patterns are also producing consistently.
Recommended Approach: Match your presentation to the stage of the hatch. Start with cripples and spinners, move to emergers or nymphs as activity shifts subsurface, and switch to adult dries when fish begin feeding on top.
