Water Level: 30% (As of 08/8/26)

Wickiup Fishing Report: Fishing has been fairly consistent overall, Kokanee anglers are still seeing a bit of action while trout fishing has ranged from fair to good depending on the time of day and conditions.

Current Conditions: It’s that time of year & water levels are dropping, which makes boat access difficult. Check the latest launch conditions before bringing a boat, as dock access is becoming limited.

What’s Working: Zebra Midges and balanced leeches fished under an indicator have been productive. Pheasant Tails and caddis patterns are also working when fish are feeding higher in the water column.

Recommended Approach: Watch for rising fish and target those areas first. When surface activity is limited, fish midges, leeches, or small nymphs beneath an indicator and adjust the depth until you locate feeding fish.
